  • Minimum of a degree from a reputable University
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Banking preferably in relationship/transactional banking
  • Business Assistant experience to the Business Manager is ideal. Previous experience within the personal/ consumer banking environment as a Customer Consultant/ Personal Banker and/or Enquiries Officer is preferable. This experience provides an understanding of how to interact with and sell to personal banking customers, how to open bank accounts, as well as how the principles of scored lending are applied in practice.
  • Experience in Credit origination
  • Previous experience running a small business

Purpose of Job
To grow and retain a portfolio of medium sized branch based business banking relationships by performing both a pro- and re-active value adding role to business customers, ensuring that appropriate personal attention is given to customers and that the customers are provided with products, services and advice that will meet their needs.


  • Minimum of a first degree from a reputable University
  • Previous portfolio relationship management experience (1 – 2 years) is preferable. This experience provides an understanding of how businesses operate, as well as understanding the business risks, industry risks and financial requirements pertaining to the commercial market.
  • Previous working experience in Credit is preferable to gain practical exposure to lending principles and to establish credible relationships.

Purpose of the Role
Provide an efficient and technical proficient personal banking service and support to a portfolio of branch based Gold segment clients
Achievement of acquiring, expansion, cost management and customer retention targets
Provide customers with basic day-to-day services


  • Minimum of a 2.2 BSC degree in any behavioral Sciences.
  • Masters or professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience of Product knowledge (general as well as investment related), competitors and competitor’s offerings and all Bank processes and branch procedures.
  • Good knowledge of local market

SURVEILLANCE OFFICER 12872&localeCode=en-us##
Context / Environment:
The Security Department supports the Bank’s objectives through development and implementation of policies covering every aspect of security management, for them to serve as action guidelines at all levels of the Bank. The Security officer reports to the Team Leader Security Infrastructure and Maintenance and is a key member of the security team within the Bank, working closely with other functions.


  • Preferably a degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences or Arts, or previous security experience in a Multinational environment.
  • Exhibits a high level of initiative, confidentiality and commitment
  • Has strong people skills
  • Has sufficient IT knowledge /skills to generate, operate and run reports
  • Has sufficient CCTV and Access control knowledge and operating system
  • Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills are also required
  • A high level of decision making, objectivity, creativity and integrity
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly

Working Relationships:

  • Close contact with the Team Leader Security Infrastructure and Maintenance
  • Close contact with the Team Leader Protocol and Fleet
  • Close contact with Business Support.
  • Close contact with the Security Team.
  • Liaison with external Security agents especially the Police and LASTMA.
