Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• To be responsible for the strategy and operations of laundry services.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the operations of the laundry facility and services
• Developing new business opportunities with clients from small to large requirements such as government, hospitality, commercial and workers villages and managing key accounts.
• Adherence to HSE&Q standards and international best practices
• Managing the operations cost-effectively
• Overseeing the procurement and supply of industrial chemicals and products, assets and machinery for the facility
• Manpower resourcing and training & development
• Develop and implement more policies, procedures, and systems to improve the operations
• Ensuring that all standards specified in the contracts are met
• Training and development of team members
• Preparing and managing budgets
• Inventory and asset management
• Management reporting
• Assigns and reviews the work of laundry employees engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, packaging and delivering laundry to various departments or guests.
• Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree / MSc

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in an Operational Management in hospitality or commercial laundry experience
• Experience working with clients in the hospitality industry or Laundry,
• Financial management with the ability to prepare and manage budgets and costs
• Ability to prepare tenders and quotes
• Female only (for gender balance)

Candidate Profile:

• Fluency in English is essential
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel
• Effective leadership and management experience
