Job Description:

Assist in Review of Commissioning procedures for all assigned areas. Commissioning Supervisor will review and comment on all Unit specific Commissioning Manuals that will be used at site. Make suggestions to ensure a safe and incident free start up
Execute plans for all phases of Commissioning. Supervision of Commissioning teams that will execute the Commissioning Framework plan. He will also be responsible for implementing and commissioning start up modifications on all units that are required to ensure plant stability after start up.
Work with Project Operations training Coordinators to help develop and deliver a training program for Nigerian work force on Pre-commissioning and commissioning work. Deliverable will be a training program that readies the Nigerian operations work force to participate in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the EGTL plant. Mentoring the Nigerian workforce on all issues relating to commissioning of a large facility.
Participate in all meetings regarding commissioning for their area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Higher National Diploma with fully qualified Operations Training Certificate from Oil Company or petrochemical facility. Candidates must have a minimum of Second Class Lower division for Bachelors degree and Upper credit for Diploma certificates.

Required Skills:

Excellent technical and analytical skills;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Demonstrated leadership skills;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Software

Experience: Minimum of five (10) years in refining or petrochemical facility with at least two (2) years in line management.
