Job Title: Spare Part Analyst
Location: Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos

- We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spare Part Analyst to join our team.
- The Spare Part Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing the spare parts inventory for our company.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar field or industry and hold an HND/BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Analyze the spare parts inventory and identify critical parts for various equipment and machinery.
- Develop and maintain an accurate database of spare parts, including part numbers, descriptions, and stock levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine appropriate inventory levels based on demand, lead time, and equipment downtime.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and secure timely delivery of spare parts.
- Conduct regular audits of the spare parts inventory to ensure accuracy and identify obsolete or excess stock for disposal.
- Analyze data and generate reports on inventory performance, including stock accuracy, turnover rates, and cost analysis.
- Implement and improve inventory management processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in spare parts management to recommend best practices.
- HND / BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar field or industry, preferably as a Spare Part Analyst or in a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent knowledge of spare parts management principles, inventory control, and supply chain management.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office tools, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records and conducting audits.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- The position is based in Ogba, Ikeja.
