Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
- We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department and drive initiatives that support our company’s growth and employee well-being.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR management, exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for attracting top talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and plan for future workforce requirements.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Handle employee inquiries, conflicts, and concerns in a timely and confidential manner.
- Develop and implement employee recognition programs and initiatives.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training and certification requirements.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Manage employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer employee benefits programs and compensation packages.
- Conduct salary surveys and analyse market trends to maintain competitive pay structures.
- Review and recommend improvements to the benefits package.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
