Job Title: Brand Protection Manager

Key Accountabilities
- Manage and build cordial working relationships with relevant Regulatory Enforcement agencies across East and central divisions
- Develop cordial working relationship with market associations to manage counterfeit issues in each market
- Carryout market inspections monthly to scale the size and nature of counterfeit and copycat issue within the divisions and report back on a monthly basis
- Support our 3PP on matters relating to counterfeit and intellectual property investigations within the East and Central
- Gather intel on counterfeit operations to support actionable raid actions against production, storage and retail facilities
- Prepare monthly reports on BP activities in the East and Central.
- Support the Sales teams in resolving complaints on counterfeiting within East and Central divisions.
- Support all Brand Protection initiative East and Central divisions
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Good analytical Skills
- Good communication skills
- Professional experience NDLEA, counterfeit/ illicit management will be an added advantage
- Ability to work under little supervision
KPI to measure progress:
- Identify and provide intelligence on major hubs in East and Central
- Identify and establish relationships with key players in these markets (Executives of each market association)
- Quarterly formal engagement sessions with market associations to discuss our challenges and chart ways forward
- Sustain and maintain trust between GN and these association and ensure the association support and drive GN anti-counterfeit drive
- Get association to support quarterly engagements with Spirits and wine meeting with Diageo
- Intelligence gathering and dissemination against production, storage and retail
- Carryout market inspection to not less than 120 outlets across 6 trades monthly
- Develop and maintain stakeholder map within the region (NAFDAC, SON, CPC, Police & Customs) Names, designation and telephone numbers of regulators.

Job Title: Supplier to Plant Quality Specialist

Purpose of the role
- To collaboratively manage Quality Audits and on-going improvement of delivered inputs for Packaging components and Services activities across Nigeria.
Complexity of the role:
- Liaise with Procurement, Production, Packaging, Brewery Logistic and Customer Services departments to ensure that target volumes and quality are achieved.
Leadership responsibilities:
- The role holder ensures that adequate guidance is provided to the team members.
Top Accountabilities:
- Develop the introduction of new Vendors through implement accreditation audits of Supplier premises before engagement, Liaison visits, and incoming inspection/ plant scale trials.
- Implement the Audit schedule for all component stores to ensure adherence to storage and handling standards.
- Implement the programme for Third Party Operations (TPO) audits and prepare annual plan/schedule for Third party Operation audits and Technical Liaison visits.
- Ensure adherence to specified quality standards through rigorous accreditation audits of Supplier premises prior to engagement.
- Manage fitness for purpose and due diligence checks for new glass bottles through in-house and third-party analyses and plant scale trials.
- Manage supplier non-conformance report (SNCR) for all packaging components and liaise with Vendors on SNCR and ensure corrective actions are duly closed out.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- HND/University degree in Sciences or related field. Master’s degree may be an added advantage.
- IBD Brewing Qualification is an added advantage.
- 5-7 year’s brewery experience across Inbound Quality Management and Supply Operations
- Good knowledge of Diageo GRMS, DWB and other Local/International regulatory standards
- Auditing experience and Trainings
- Self-motivated and achievement-oriented leader. Good cultural awareness

Top Accountabilities
Brand planning:
- Work closely with the brand teams to ensure that market and consumer insight drives the brand strategy and marketing activity; evaluating marketing activity; GAME planning & managing continuous brand tracking and feedback.
Market planning:
- Manage, monitor, interpret and communicate trade data (including local trends and sales trends); portfolio planning (including Consumer Scope segmentation, pricing etc.) and ad hoc data to the business (marketing, customer marketing, and strategy)
Innovation planning:
- Work closely with the innovation team to develop, test and evaluate new concepts, products or brand extensions for the market
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Graduate
- 6-8 years’ experience either within an FMCG organization with a planning, brand & consumer focus, or a research agency background
- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques
- Experience of the drinks industry is advantageous however not essential.
