Our client, a niche player in the music and entertainment   industry focused on the promotion of ennobling music and sale of top end musical instruments, publications and recorded music with need office in Lagos and having branches in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Calabar has retained our services for a full corporate refocusing exercise and now wants to recruit exceptional talents who must be self starters with high level of initiative and drive to implement its new strategy geared towards achieving its set objective.

1.)  Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The chief operating officer will act as the bridge between the CEO and the entire staff of the organization. He shall be responsible for the day to day to operations of the organization and report directly to the MD/CEO.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate should have a first degree/HND in accounting or any business related field and must be a member of a recognized accounting body An MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years work experience out of which at least 5 years must have been spent in a managerial position.
  • Knowledge of Sales and Marketing added advantage
  • Age: must not be below 36 years


2.)  Branch Heads

Each branch head will be fully responsible for the smooth running of the operations of the branch he/she is heading. This will cover outdoor business development, indoor sales activities, finance, administration, etc.

Qualifications and experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a first degree or Higher National Diploma plus a professional qualification in marketing. An MBA will be added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years work experience out of which at least 5 years must have been spent in a carrying out Sales/ Marketing function and at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial position.
  • Must have a burning desire to sell and must have worked in a target driven environment.
  • Fair knowledge of accounting and finance basics as well as hands on experience in office administration and human resources management will be added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age.


3.)  Sales and Marketing Officers

The sales and marketing officers will manage the indoor-sales activities at the different locations and will occasionally go out for outdoor marketing. They will also act as the cashier for receiving payments.

Qualifications and experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a first degree or Higher National Diploma plus a professional qualification in marketing. An MBA will be added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Sales/ Marketing Officer.
  • Must have a burning desire to sell and must have worked in a target driven environment.
  • Fair knowledge of accounting and finance basics will be added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age.


4.)  Head, Financial Control

The head financial control has the primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities of the company, taxation, finance, budgeting, product costing, project cost analysis and evaluation, investor relationships, government agents relationships as well as banking and treasury management.

Qualifications and experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a first degree /HND in accounting or related fields and must be a member of a recognized accounting body An MBA will be added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience out of which at least 5 years must have been spent in a managerial position and at least 5 years performing similar function as head financial control or accounts.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite is desired as well as hands on experience in the use of accounting software.
  • Few years work experience in audit will be desirable while work experience in a trading concern will be added advantage
  • Candidate must not be above 36 years of age.


5.)  Personal Assistant to the MD/CEO

 

As the PA to the MD/CEo you will provide an efficient and responsive administrative organizational, and logistic assistance to the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications and experience

  • First degree or Higher National Diploma in secretarial administration or related fields.
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite is desired.
  • Fair knowledge of accounting and finance basics as well as hands on experience in office administration and human resources management will be added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age.

 


6.)  Information Technology Administrator/Research Officer

 

The ideal candidate will manage the telecommunication resources of the company ensuring that no staff experiences down time. He will also assist the head, product development, operations and research in carrying out research.

Qualifications and experience

  • First degree or Higher National Diploma in Information Technology or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar position.
  • Possession of some IT certifications will be added advantage.
  • Flair for research and documentation
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age


7.)  Maintenance Technicians

The ideal candidate will work as a team member in the installation and maintenance of musical instruments such as organs, pianos, orchestra instruments etc.

Qualifications and Experience

  • First degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years practical work experience as an Electronic Engineer.
  • Work experience in the industry will be added advantage
  • Flair for research and documentation
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age.


8.)  Customer Service Officer

The main responsibility of the Customer Service Officer is to ensure the overall satisfaction of the customers of the company by ensuring that their needs are fully met.

Qualifications and experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a first degree or Higher National Diploma
  • Quality customer service training and/or certifications is desired.
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience as customer service personnel in the hospitality, airline telecommunication or banking industry.
  • Must have a burning desire to help people.
  • Fair knowledge of sales and marketing principles or practical experience will be added advantage
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age.


9.)  Music Training Coordinator

The music training coordinator will be responsible for setting up this unit under the supervision of the head, product development, operations and research. He will run the training unit and ensure the engagement of external facilitators as well as marketing of the service.

Qualifications and experience

  • First degree or Higher National Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite is will be added advantage.
  • Flair for research and documentation
  • The ideal candidate should not be above 35 years of age.
