Job Title: Field Engineer
Location:
 Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a Field Engineer Trainees who will assist and support other Engineers and Specialists at the Project site. Training is hands-on with focus on the Project in general, tools and services specific to the assigned Project line..
  • Successful Field Engineer Trainees are rapid learners, who use logic to solve problems, and are personally committed to continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop competency to perform operations and operate equipment as assigned, and be accountable for jobs at end of training period.
  • Learn basic Project components and different roles of service companies.
  • Provide pre- and postjob support to engineers and specialists at the Project site and in the base location, including risk analysis.
  • Assist with engineering tools and equipment at the Project site.
  • Contribute to preparation of Project site reports.
  • Participate in postjob debriefings.

Qualifications

  • HND in Engineering or related science.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Salary
N80,000 – N120,000 monthly

 

Job Title: Field Service Representative

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Job Description
Job brief:

  • We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs.
  • Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues.
  • Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting

  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Minimum of HND in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

  • We are looking for a maintenance engineers who will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. You will use computerised systems to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs.
  • Maintenance engineers are also involved in control and monitoring devices and occasionally in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities and tasks vary from role-to-role but you will typically be involved in:

  • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
  • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems
  • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
  • Carrying out quality inspections on jobs
  • Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
  • Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
  • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
  • Improving health and safety policies and procedures
  • Working with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines
  • Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
  • Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.

Job Title: Safety Officer
Location:
 Lagos
Job Description

  • We are looking for a responsible Safety Officer to facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
  • You will provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations.
  • You will also be on a constant lookout for violations.
  • The ideal candidate will be a responsible individual who swears by OSH regulations.
  • Your work will be largely focused on prevention so you need to be conscientious and farsighted.
  • The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies.
  • The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of OHS policies and programs
  • Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
  • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
  • Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
  • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as safety officer
  • In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Diligent with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
  • B.Sc/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred
  • Certificate in occupational health and safety.

Salary
N180,000 – N250,000 monthly
