Job Title: Senior Manager, Enterprise & Customer Experience Operations
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • To develop and oversee the implementation and support of applications that service the Enterprise and the customer experience of these services in line with MTN business strategy
  • Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing the Division’s processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (I.e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions).
  • Participate in the review of Business Processes, to drive efficiency gains to ensure at least 5% reduction in Divisional budget year-on-year.
  • Participate in Contract negotiations to reduce cost and drive MTNN Value Creation Philosophy
  • Serve the Division’s internal customers and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
  • Strategic Partnerships with MTNN leadership team to drive awareness on expected behaviours and impact on non-compliance on bottom line results and company image/reputation.
  • Drive planned strategy for the successful delivery of MTN Group and MTNN transformation initiatives focusing on Customer centricity, including Perfect 10 Project.
  • Drive an increase in MTNN’s Net Promoter Score.
  • Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g. strategic investors, technical and finance partners, business consultants etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
  • Define standards and guidelines for Application & Billing operations and review service metrics (KPIs) that identify the success of the services being utilized and recommend as well as coordinate implementation of changes to Service Management services to improve metrics.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge repository system to support Application & Billing function, gathering, analysing, storing and sharing knowledge and information using a variety of processes and technologies.
  • Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
  • Identify training and development needs and manage skills enhancement programmes for the IT Application & Billing team to address knowledge gaps and enrich knowledge repository within the department.
  • Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
  • Partner with MTNN’s Ecosystem Partners to deliver business value
  • Collaborate with other business units in the development of business models for use in MTNN and develop measurement strategies to support ongoing strategy development and project optimization.
  • Review MTNN business direction and contribute to the development of Information Services, demonstrating an understanding of MTNN business strategies and needs of the customer.
  • Develop detailed plans in support of approved strategies in respect of Information Service Management, organizing required resources, monitoring and periodically reporting progress of plans.
  • Lead the service management team and drive a service based culture in IT and put in place a reliable support system with clear processes and procedures and tools for measuring service delivery and performance.
  • Investigate new applications in support of MTNN’s strategy and lead the process of selection of suitable technologies and manage related negotiations with suppliers accordingly.
  • Review the array of technologies available for MTNN processes and advise business users of the best possible solutions based on their requirements, growth, emerging technologies and MTNN’s objective.
  • Maintain day to day responsibility for the ownership and resolution (including any referral or escalation as may be necessary) of Application & Billing issues to ensure the provision of an optimum service to the internal customer 24 hours a day.

Experience & Training
Experience:

  • 9-17 years experience which includes the following:
  • Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry
  • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
  • At least 5 years of relevant technical IT experience
  • Experience in application development and support is desirable

Job Title: Senior Specialist, Financial Services Architect
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • Carry out research to determine the structure (architecture) of proposed systems and provide insight into new and enhanced technologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs for MTNN.
  • Define standards and guidelines for payment Platforms Financial application, VTUs, & eCommerce e.t.c
  • Collaborates with the other Architects and the external focus team to ensure data definitions, mappings, and changes are properly coordinated
  • Develop the long term e-commerce and financial services strategic plans and implement them in the e-commerce architecture
  • Develop standards and guidelines for technical designing based on various business goals
  • Undertake the development, maintenance, and governance of the e-commerce and financial services architecture
  • Recommend necessary changes in the existing e-commerce application and work for its efficient functioning, revenue generation, and cost savings
  • Ensure that ecommerce and financial services implementations are completed according to the architecture designed
  • Define enterprise level systems architecture and direct the design and approach to deployment.
  • Design scalable applications architecture based on trend analysis of current usage and forecast and benchmark application capabilities based on projected growth.
  • Create, maintain, disseminate & validate application development guidelines & standards for all artifacts will facilitate the oversight standardization and future direction of all application development.
  • Design the architectural landscape to accomplish cross system objectives and advantageous trade-offs across the ecosystem
  • Ensure the alignment of Enterprise Architecture with the business strategy throughout the cycle of innovation, planning and delivery
  • Chart roadmap of Technology Infrastructure, Evolution, Emerging Technologies & trends.
  • Evaluate developments in architecture in the local and international business environment and recommend value adding improvements to MTNN’s application architecture roadmaps.
  • Develop a high level view of current and future state business and solution architecture for E-Commerce Systems that is well connected with business strategy.
  • Work with other team members to develop a comprehensive view of all aspects of E-Commerce system architecture
  • Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in various areas such as E-Commerce Systems, Cloud Computing, Systems Integration
  • Provide leadership role by participating in Architecture Review conversations to help guide development of ecommerce systems solutions that are strategically aligned to the overall architecture vision
  • Engage with other functional units and actively participate in IT projects.
  • Assist in validating the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.

Experience & Training
Experience:

6-13 years’ experience which includes:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Financial services & ecommerce environment; with experience in supervising/managing others
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization
  • Enterprise Architecture (Business, Applications) experience
  • Experience integrating applications and technology in a complex environment.
  • Good working knowledge of EA frameworks, NGOSS, eTOM, TOGAF including development and ensuring adherence to architecture principles and standards
  • In-depth experience in Architecture governance and standards, Business Capability
  • Good working knowledge of NPV, IRR, ROI, TCO
  • A year in Enterprise Architecture (Business, Applications)
  • eCommerce systems/platforms implementation – ATG, Endeca, WebSphere Commerce e.t.c
  • Exposure to formal requirements and design processes
  • Experience with SOAP / REST web services, knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with mobile integration to back-end systems via web-services & APIs
  • Solid understanding of service oriented and microservices architectural principles

Job Title: Analyst, Corporate Finance
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • Assist MTNN in meeting its financial and regulatory obligations to its lenders and other counter parties and prepare analysis that will aid long term liquidity management
  • Prepare Treasury yearly budget, upload to Hyperion and prepare monthly budget variance report to Senior Manager Treasury.
  • Analyse and prepare Treasury reports such as cash collection reports, FOREX exposure reports by purchase order, monthly and cash disbursement reports to aid financial management decision.
  • Gather and analyse data on expenditures relating to CAPEX and OPEX to optimise cash forecast.
  • Act as focal point for Treasury Accounting responsibilities, carrying out monthly verification of credit interest and bank charges, booking of banking investments, funds transfers and income, reviewing reports on dealer and postpaid collection sweeps and compiling necessary documents for year-end audit.
  • Facilitate the administration and settlement of MTF related payments (principal repayment, interest and fees as it relates to borrowing).
  • Monitor and confirm the completeness and accuracy of Corporate Finance related GL posting.
  • Facilitate settlement and administration of shareholders’ dividend distribution, assisting with all exchange control approvals needed, confirming settlement to the company secretary and ensure accurate posting on IFS.
  • Maintain financing records and audit trail in strict compliance to MTNN policies and procedures.
  • Collate information relating to MTNN business for updating the Supplemental Information Memorandum to the lenders.
  • Maintain best practice as it relates to corporate finance policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly journals (accruals and amortisation schedules) and ensure they are in line with accounting standards.
  • Distribute all authorised reports to lenders and financial institutions.
  • Ensure value creation when engaging with Customer
  • Ensure value is created through effective stakeholder management

Education:
