Job Summary
- As the Business Development Manager, your main objective will be to maximize the potential of key accounts, fostering consistent and strong revenue growth.
- A pivotal aspect of your role will involve coordinating and overseeing the Sales team, to achieve tangible results and elevate performance management across the board.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhancing the performance of key accounts to achieve consistent revenue growth.
- Coordinating and overseeing the Sales team to drive results and manage performance effectively.
- Developing and optimizing the distribution network to enhance Net Numeric Distribution.
- Taking responsibility for trade investments to ensure desired business return on investment.
- Delivering weekly performance presentations to Sales Managers or Management for informed decision-making.
- Securing strategic partner accounts to support business expansion initiatives.
- Establishing sales targets aligned with overall business objectives for the team.
- Conducting trade visits for coaching and market insights a minimum of 8 times per month.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc/BA) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in data analysis and insights, with strong numerical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in using MS Office suites for presentations and reporting purposes.
- At least 6 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, with a preference for candidates with a strong understanding of Modern Trade, Distribution, and Open Market channels.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in team management.
Salary
N400,000 – N550,000 + Benefits.
