Job Title: Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas, Marine
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within the Marine sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and identifying new opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Marine segments.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully executing business development strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and present compelling proposals to clients, showcasing the company’s capabilities and value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a unified approach towards business development goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Good portfolio with clientele in Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
- Understand clients’ needs and work towards providing customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to strengthen the company’s position in the market.
- Negotiate and finalize business agreements with partners to achieve mutual benefits.
- Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Oil & Gas and Marine segments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on the Marine sector.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the technical aspects and challenges within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining key client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- In-depth knowledge of the global Oil & Gas and Marine markets.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive and result-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
