Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

- Coordinate critical human resources functions: The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various HR functions within the business unit. This includes areas such as recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
- Develop strategic HR initiatives: The ideal candidate will be expected to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the overall business goals. This involves analyzing the organization’s HR needs, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and implementing strategies to address those needs effectively.
- Manage and direct HR functions: The HR Manager will have the responsibility of managing and directing the HR team within the assigned business unit. This includes providing guidance, support, and supervision to HR staff members, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Experience and Qualifications
- Ccandidates should possess an HND or Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources Management: The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in the field of HR management. This experience should encompass a broad range of HR functions to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and processes.
- Human resource generalist experience in a supervisory role: The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR generalist in a supervisory or managerial role. This experience should involve overseeing and managing various HR functions and leading a team of HR professionals.
- Professional HR Certification (Local/International): Possessing a professional HR certification is compulsory for this role. The certification can be obtained from a recognized local or international HR institute or professional body. This requirement ensures that the candidate has a solid foundation of HR knowledge and expertise.
- Overall, the HR Manager will play a crucial role in aligning HR practices with business objectives, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment within the assigned business unit.
