Job Title: Social Media Marketing Specialist
- As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing digital marketing strategies, overseeing social media platforms, and creating compelling content.
- Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to develop engaging content that drives brand awareness, increases online visibility, and engages the target audience.
- You will also be responsible for monitoring social media channels, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to optimize digital presence. Additionally, you will contribute to content creation for various digital platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify target audience segments and define appropriate digital channels and tactics to reach them effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies to recommend innovative strategies.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and oversee social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Jiji, Instagram, Linked In, YouTube, etc.
- Develop and implement social media content calendars and scheduling, ensuring consistency and timely delivery of content.
- Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, videos, and info-graphics, tailored to specific platforms and target audiences.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, and engage with the online community.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and optimize strategies.
Content Creation and Writing:
- Produce high-quality, original, and compelling written content for websites, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to generate ideas and develop content that aligns with brand voice and target audience preferences.
- Ensure content is optimized for SEO and follows best practices for online readability and engagement.
- Create multimedia content that enhances the overall digital presence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. will be added advantage
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research.
- Strong Knowledge of ChatGPT
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
- Creative mindset and ability to think strategically.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
