Seven Up Bottling Company Plc strives to create a work environment that helps employees to reach their potential through systematic talent management, as one of Nigeria’s leading soft drinks manufacturers.  Seven Up is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager, who will report directly to the General manager

Summary of the Role

  • To maximize sale of company products within the market territory assigned.
  • To guide and support sales personnel within the grouping to achieve set volume objectives.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Re-evaluate and revise all routes on a regular basis towards the achievement of volume targets.
  • To be customer focused; visiting the trade regularly; ensuring frequency of

(i) supplies, stocks held, sales, relevant prices, conduct of sales personnel,

(ii) and other information leading to the development of accounts within the market assigned.

  • Develop consistent reliable methods of measuring the effectiveness of

(i) sales to guide sales personnel in achieving volume objective.

  • To break group target into weekly and daily volumes for each route in the

(i) grouping and regularly review progress against objectives.

(ii) Develop new business opportunities to grow volume within the region

Key Performance Objectives & Indicators

Objective: To deliver and exceed agreed sales volume whilst developing new accounts.


  • Sales volume.
  • Cost of sales.
  • Use of allocated tools of trade.
  • Level of customer satisfaction.
  • Number of new accounts developed.
  • Morale of sales staff.

Job Specifications

Minimum Education: HND/B.Sc Multilingual (English and one or two of three major Nigerian dialects fluently)

Minimum Experience: 5 years in FMCG Company in a sales/marketing
