Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

• We are searching for a facility manager who shall be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our apartment buildings and estates. He shall ensure that the facility is functioning efficiently and effectively and that all services and systems are operating properly

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and managing the facility’s physical infrastructure, including its HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Developing and implementing facility management policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
• Managing and supervising a team of maintenance and support staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Overseeing the budget for the facility and ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
• Monitoring and coordinating the facility’s security, including access control, alarm systems, and surveillance cameras.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Managing and overseeing facility construction and renovation projects, including working with contractors and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the facility’s operations.
• Responding to and resolving facility-related issues and emergencies as they arise.
• Communicating with senior management and other stakeholders about facility management issues and concerns.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with at least 3 years work experience.
