Eden Solutions and Resources Limited – Our client is a large Supermarket Chain that recently opened in Abuja. They are poised to open several branches in Abuja within the year and are looking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full Time

Description:

• The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business.
• He/she will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Responsibilities:

• Work with defined targets to grow and establish the brand
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
• Manage operations and finances of business
• Recruit and train new hires on business practices
• Drive development of employees
• Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Must be a University Graduate
• Minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of retail management
• Knowledge of inventory management is key
• Knowledge and experience in the use of inventory software is an advantage
• Certifications in related field will be an advantage
• Management and Customer Service experience Strong administrative skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills.
